CUSTOM SOLUTION ENGAGEMENT

Customer & partner portals

Give customers, partners or employees a clear place to complete business tasks. Connect a considered web experience with the applications and records behind your service.

Connected digital experiences

Built around
the complete workflow.

A portal should make a complete journey easier to perform: applying for a service, sharing documents, reviewing account information or following a request. We work from the business rules and user responsibilities behind that journey, then design the interface, integrations and operating model together. The result is scoped around your organization rather than a generic feature list.

CAPABILITIES TO SCOPE

  • Customer, partner and employee journeys
  • Role-based workspaces and account access
  • Forms, document flows and approvals
  • APIs, migration and operational reporting

PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Start with the work that matters.

Turn a request into a coherent journey

Connect a user’s submission with the people and systems that process it. Define required information, review steps, correction paths and the status a user needs to see. Include incomplete records and rejected requests so the experience remains understandable when the ideal path changes.

Create a shared partner workspace

Bring the relevant account information, documents or operational tasks into an appropriate audience workspace. Identify the owner of each record and which actions a partner may take. Establish organization boundaries and delegated access before connecting the interface to business applications.

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Connect the experience to the system.

Connect systems deliberately

Review APIs, authentication, vendor constraints and the source of truth for each record. Agree how an unavailable service, delayed event or repeated submission is handled. Integration contracts should describe the normal response and the recovery path so a polished interface does not conceal uncertain operational behavior.

Design for the devices people use

A responsive portal needs clear task priorities, accessible forms and meaningful validation on a small screen. Consider document upload, authentication and interrupted sessions as part of the journey. Public content and signed-in application areas have different search, privacy and caching requirements.

QUALITY & READINESS

Review the details before release.

Review the whole business task

Use representative users and records to complete the journey from submission to resolution. Check permissions, invalid inputs, missing information and support handoffs. Agree what constitutes an accepted outcome with the people who will operate the service.

Prepare release and adoption

Plan account onboarding, migration, user communication and operational support alongside deployment. Review rollback and reconciliation if an existing channel is being replaced. Separate local test evidence from the verification required in the production environment.

Ownership and ongoing support

Repository access, documentation, environments, identity-provider administration and integration ownership are agreed before handover. Ongoing maintenance can address dependency updates, operating issues and planned improvements under an engagement-specific support arrangement.

PLANNING THE ENGAGEMENT

A clear
starting point.

Can a portal connect to our current ERP or CRM?

We assess the available interfaces, permissions, vendor limits and data quality before confirming the integration scope.

Should we build a portal or a mobile application?

The decision follows the task, audience and device needs. A responsive portal may be sufficient; device-specific capabilities or offline work may justify a mobile application.
