CUSTOM SOLUTION ENGAGEMENT

AI knowledge workspaces

Bring approved business information into a searchable, source-supported workspace. Designed around your documents, permissions and the questions your team needs to answer.

Applied AI & enterprise knowledge

Built around
the complete workflow.

Teams often know that useful information exists but struggle to find the current answer across procedures, policies and disconnected documents. A knowledge workspace connects search, retrieval and an appropriate AI interface to a defined information collection. The engagement begins with a bounded task and a representative set of questions, rather than an assumption that every document should be connected.

CAPABILITIES TO SCOPE

  • Permission-aware document retrieval
  • Source references and reviewable answers
  • Search and conversational interfaces
  • Evaluation, usage and operating controls

PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Start with the work that matters.

Find a procedure with its source

Help a user locate an approved process and understand which document supports the answer. Establish document ownership, versions and access before indexing. Design a clear path back to the source so staff can inspect the original context, especially when an answer affects an operational decision.

Support a specialist team

Create a focused assistant for a defined audience, such as service operations or internal support. Begin with the questions people repeatedly ask and identify which answers need specialist review. When the information is missing or conflicting, the system should make that limitation clear and direct the user to an appropriate next step.

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Connect the experience to the system.

Keep information and authority connected

Source permissions need to apply during retrieval, not only after an answer has been generated. Review identity, document access, indexing updates and access removal together. Untrusted content and model output remain separate from the application permissions that control actions and data changes.

Choose the model around the task

Compare model quality, provider terms, hosting choices, latency and operating cost against the actual use case. Retrieval, application logic and existing search may be more appropriate than custom training. Data handling and retention are explicit design decisions before business information is connected.

QUALITY & READINESS

Review the details before release.

Evaluate representative questions

Use ordinary questions, incomplete information and difficult cases to review source relevance, citation support, unsupported statements and response time. Agree acceptance criteria and human-review requirements with the people accountable for the workflow.

Prepare the information lifecycle

Test an updated procedure, a removed document and a revoked permission. Confirm how changes reach the index, how problems are investigated and who owns source quality. A useful release needs an operating process for the knowledge as well as the application.

Ownership and ongoing support

The scope includes an agreed handover for sources, application configuration, evaluation records and operating responsibilities. Provider subscriptions, document administration, monitoring, maintenance and enhancement work are defined for the engagement.

PLANNING THE ENGAGEMENT

A clear
starting point.

Is this an existing packaged product?

This is a custom solution engagement. We scope the workspace around your users, sources, access requirements and evaluation criteria.

Can an answer automatically change business records?

Any action requires separately designed application permissions, validation and approval rules. A source-supported answer does not by itself authorize a system change.
